Nayamba School is a community school for children in rural Chisamba, Zambia. 350 children from pre-school through to age 18, who previously could not go to school due to distance and expense, are now getting a first rate education because of the support of volunteers and trustees of The Nayamba Trust.

Trade Centre
1n 2019 we built a trade centre alongside Nayamba School. This not-for-profit social enterprise allows students not continuing their education, the opportunity to become apprentices and learn a trade, particularly supporting the most vulnerable older girls within the community. The centre is now a sustainable operation in its own right.

What we do
From our base here in the UK, Nayamba Trust provides more than 70% of the funding to run Nayamba School and operates a 100% fundraising model. We support the school educationally, strategically and financially through our amazing and entirely voluntary team of trustees, educationalists, fundraisers and friends.

As Nayamba is run on a 100% model, every single penny you raise or donate goes directly to the school and the projects we run on the school's behalf.
Whether that is supporting the salaries of our amazing teachers, funding our food programme which is vital for the health and welfare of our pupils, or contributing to the infrastructure of the school with new buildings or classrooms, you can be 100% sure that 100% of your money will benefit out children.
A shared sense of purpose
There are so many ways to get involved with Nayamba and all of them make a difference to our school. Some people prefer to donate regularly or make a one-off donation, others choose to do something ‘hands on’ such as taking part in - or organising - an event on behalf of the charity. Then there are our corporate/business partners and our exciting schools’ programme.
However you feel you can contribute, we’d urge you to get involved. We have a thriving community of volunteers, trustees and friends - who share the same aim - and who enjoy working together to achieve it.
